DAILY INTERIOR DESIGN INSPIRATION FOR YOU
A cozy Christmas IN THE FINNISH WOODEN HOUSE
CHRISTMAS DECORATION ITEMS made of recycling materials
Cute and simple DRAWINGS ON CARDBOARD • Let your imagination run wild by painting on cardboard. We used standard cardboard boxes from everyday items. You can make small houses for a shelf or figurines that you can use as cards for the Christmas presents, adornments for a fir twig or as place cards. On the next page, we’ll show you how to make them.
Beautiful stars MADE OF PAPER BAGS • These stars have been popular for quite a few years now – especially in Sweden. Obviously, you can make them out of bags with patterns but you can also just make them – as simple as possible – using old paper bags. We’ll show you how to make them.
Stars made of PAPER WITH PATTERNS • These stars are made of sheets of paper and that adds a completely different expression to them. You can also make the stars out of pages with text from an old book. You can use whatever type of paper you want.
Sparkling stars made of CARDBOARD TUBES • These stars are made of cardboard tubes from toilet paper and kitchen rolls. They’re perfect for hanging in a window, on the Christmas tree or on a coat rack along with a small twig of something green. You can use the same technique to make stars out of pages from an old book but they’ll turn out a bit softer.
A good feel for the right atmosphere

MEMORIES OF GRANDMA BRING THE PAST INTO THE PRESENT
MEMORIES OF GRANDMA HOMEMADE DOUGHNUT HOLES • Something that really brings back memories from my childhood – and belongs to Christmas – is glögg and homemade doughnut holes. The homemade ones are just so much tastier than the ones from the supermarket and baking them is such a cozy activity. You’ll need a special pan but you can easily find one in a second-hand store – at least here in Denmark. Serve your doughnut holes with warm glögg.

A wonderful Christmas AT RAMONA’S
DIY CHRISTMAS BOOK • Let your imagination take over and go on a creative journey with this new book from Anno 1808. The book contains more than 35 fine Christmas decoration items that have been made with recycled items, nice old paper and things from the flea markets, amongst other things.
EDIBLE CHRISTMAS WREATHS • This might seem like a crazy idea but I’d like to show you a slightly different way of serving Christmas lunch. Making the wreaths was good fun and once you get started, the possibilities are endless. I’ve used a variety of tapas but you can also use a selection of traditional Christmas lunch dishes and serve them in this way. Enjoy!
