Lord Chillingsworth's reputation precedes him—the infamous "Frost" is as legendary on the field of honor as he is in the bedroom. Which makes it surprising that young Emily Cavell has taken up the cause of closing Frost's favorite gambling hell. Who does this brazen, flame-haired beauty think she is?
Emily's vendetta is personal: She is determined to take a pound of flesh from Frost, who ruined her sister. But the man she meets is not the cold-hearted devil she imagined—and is twice as handsome to boot—and soon Emily finds herself falling for him. Their battle of wills quickly ignites into blazing desire. Could it be that the most jaded Lord of Vice is finally willing to risk everything and gamble on her heart? Or is true love only a fool's game?
Twilight with the Infamous Earl is a Lords of Vice novel from Alexandra Hawkins.

Hawkins' Lords of Vice series, which includes All Afternoon with a Scandalous Marquess (2012) and Sunrise with a Notorious Lord (2012), concludes with the sixth and final unmarried member, Frost, Earl of Chillingsworth. He is bored with the group's gaming hall and single life, though he cannot admit it. Emily heard her sister's last words before her suicide, including the word Frost. Emily is certain this man with the rake's reputation shamed her engaged sister and broke her heart. But she and Frost can't deny their strong attraction and soon engage in kisses and more. Emily eventually uncovers her sister's secrets as well as Frost's in this satisfying story. The chemistry and family connections are Hawkins' strength and show well in this adventure. The story moves very fast, and while some scenes are glossed over, the characters are appealing and Regency fans will enjoy this as well as the rest of the series, which is similar to Stephanie Laurens' Bastion Club books.(Reprinted with permission of Booklist, copyright 2013, American Library Association.)
