The Winds of the West Long-Range Shoot • The Winds of the West Long Range Shoot, an initiative on my part hosted by Vapour Trail Long Range, was held on 15 to 16 March 2024 outside Potchefstroom in the North West. The province has some of the best long-range landscapes our beautiful country has to offer, with vast open fields, rolling hills acting as vantage points for much needed visibility, and thick mirages fuelled by unpredictable strong winds blowing predominantly from the west.

2-Mile Challenge • Near perfect conditions greeted us on the morning of 13 April as we all gathered to compete from the new purpose-built ELR platforms at Matroosbergstasie Skietklub, with 22 competitors ready to take on Match 3 of a four-match series, with the final on 16 November.
